Password authentication can be risky in certain cases where user names and passwords can be stolen or used by multiple parties. With Cléo security key, you garantee that only one user can have access to the account. Cléo Encryption/Decryption Security
Encryption helps to ensure confidentiality by protecting private data from being received by unintended recipients.
Cléo strives to maintain confidentiality by offering a 128-bit encryption service. A Bluetooth device ensures that only a recipient with the proper decryption key can view the data by encrypting its transmissions.
The encryption on Bluetooth uses the E3 algorithm. The encryption key is based on the link key created during the pairing process. This simplifies the key generation process as both the sender and receiver share the link key.
Cléo enables to supply the public key to the decryption software in real-time without ever storing the key on the computer system. This provides extra security because the key is never stored on the PC.

 

Cléo Screen Lock Security
Lock and unlock your mobile terminal: laptop or smart phone using CleoLock application.
When CleoLock detects that Cléo device is no longer in proximity of the PC, it locks it to protect the user's information.
When the user comes back, CleLock detects the presence of Cléo and automatically unlocks the terminal, making it ready to be used.
If the user does not have Cléo, the traditional password screen can be used.
